What is the process to borrow books from the SBU library?

In order to borrow books from the Stony Brook University Libraries, patrons can utilize the Search feature to locate the desired materials within the collection. To access this feature, individuals must sign in using their NetID. Once the desired items are found, patrons can request up to 5 of these items to be placed on hold for them. These requested items will be held for a period of 10 days at the North Reading Room service desk, where they can be picked up by the patrons.
